Scripture Collection 1: Fear

The Bible tells us to armor up with the word of God, so I've learned that when I'm afraid or in a bad situation, having a scripture reference handy can really help me.

I know it can be hard to get up and go seek out the shelf with your Bible on it just for one scripture when you want to lay in bed and cry... so I'm going to begin posting lists of some of my favorite scriptures for different situations.*

I'll start the list off with fear.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee ; because he trusteth in thee. ~ Isaiah 26:3

A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; But it shall not come nigh thee. ~Psalm 91:7

Yea, thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. ~Psalm 23:4

Cast thy burden upon Jehovah, and he will sustain thee: He will never suffer the righteous to be moved. ~Psalm 55:22

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah. ~Isaiah 54:17

But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell securely, And shall be quiet without fear of evil. ~Proverbs 1:33

I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. ~Psalm 34:4
